Antibacterial Activity of Polymer Nanocomposites Incorporating Graphene and Its Derivatives: A State of Art

چکیده
The incorporation of carbon-based nanostructures into polymer matrices is a relevant strategy for producing novel antimicrobial materials. By using nanofillers different shapes and sizes, polymers with characteristics, nanocomposites synergistic properties can be obtained. This article describes the state art in field polymeric reinforced graphene its derivatives such as oxide reduced oxide. Taking account vast number articles published, only some representative examples are provided. A classification carried out, dividing them acrylic methacrylic matrices, biodegradable synthetic natural polymers. mechanisms activity also reviewed. Finally, applications these discussed. We aim to enhance understanding promote further work on development polymer-based incorporating graphene-based nanomaterials.
